In addition to the short-term measures identified below, it is necessary to revise the current oceans governance system in order to achieve the conservation objectives of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in the medium to long-term.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure class='wp-block-image size-large p4featured_image'><img
