Graphic Design Internship (DC)

The Graphic Design intern contributes to the visibility of Greenpeace USA by developing creative visual solutions for internal and external communications needs for social media platforms, campaigns and the overall Greenpeace brand. This position helps shape the creative direction of public-facing materials of Greenpeace.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualizing design ideas and execute visual design
  • Design creation for social media platforms
  • Document layout
  • Photo manipulation
  • Scanning
  • Creation of original artwork for campaign needs such as external brochures, reports, newsletters, event invitations and fliers
  • Other external communications needs and projects, such as campaign oriented action activities marketing brochures, press kits, advertisements, and posters and, if schedule permits, for fundraising projects.

Qualifications:

  • Currently working towards a degree in Graphic Design or strong passion to learn more about Graphic Design
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly enthusiastic
