As a Toxics Campaigner, John works with lawmakers, coalition partners, activists, and the media in Greenpeace's efforts to protect vulnerable communities from dangerous chemical facilities.

Biography:

Before moving to Washington DC, John organized communities for Greenpeace's global warming campaign in Elmira, New York and Raleigh, North Carolina and participated in United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Conferences in Nairobi, Kenya and Poznan, Poland. He also organized in Vermont to help win the historic vote to shut down the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Plant. John studied Human Ecology at College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine.
