Drowned polar bear outside the Dept. of Interior

On May 7th, a group of concerned young citizens delivered over 150,000 petitions to Sec. of Interior Salazar asking him to save the polar bears by rescinding dangerous Bush regulations that put them in danger. The next day, a mock 'Polar Bear' was found dead in the fountain in front of the Interior Department in Washington, DC. The bear was part of a protest by Greenpeace to bring attention to the fact that Interior Secretary Ken Salazar had announced that day that he would not be rescinding the Bush regulation.
