Greenpeace activists deliver over 7,000 stop whaling petitions to the Japanese Embassy in Washington, D.C, Nov. 12, 2009. The visit to the embassy comes hours before Obama’s historic trip to Japan. Greenpeace wants Japan to end whaling in the Southern Ocean international whale sanctuary and is urging Japan to use this historic state visit as an opportunity to tell the world that they have decided to end whaling.
