Hirsch’s assessment, based on data published by the French government's radiation protection agency (IRSN) and the Austrian governments Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics (ZAMG) found that the total amount of radionuclides iodine-131 and caesium-137 released between March 11 and March 23 have been so high that the Fukushima crisis already equates to three INES 7 incidents.

Take action right now and tell the President that taxpayers should not take on the risk of building new nuclear plants.

I just can't believe the lack of attention this is getting. This article is saying that so far, Fukushima. is equivalent to three Chernobyls. THREE! SO FAR! I mean, I get it . . . not getting everyone excited and all. At this point, the damage is done and there is nothing we can do but pray for Gods will. However, each of us should also examine our role in this disaster and try to do the work before us to extingush the existing problem as well as stop it from happening anywhere in the future. How do each of us find the strength deep down within to do this? How can each one of us make a meaningful contribution?

US NAVY Facebook page: Radiation Levels - Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Plant http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?topic=17727&post=109511&uid=74281347822#post109511 The US military refuses to release the data on the levels of radiation at the Fukushima nuclear power plant. Washington DC will not them release that data to the public because the US militray is protecting the nuclear-military industrial complex instead of the public in harms way.

You bet it is, Plutonium is by far, even exponentially more harmful to the human body than uranium is.

I cannot believe that we cannot see a satelitte photo of the spreading of radiation. NOAA has satelittes that record data daily and shows all weather from space. I know the US has the ability to see the fallout from space but for some reason we "the people" are not allowed to have access to this information. Why are we the sheep and not "the People"?
