Crimes against sea life are a global problem. Pirate fishing is the illegal, unreported and unregulated scourge of the ocean.
Watch it [and then take action to help stop it below]:
Sign Greenpeace's petition to set aside 40% of the world’s oceans as marine reserves and protect whales and all the other amazing creatures in our oceans.

The world's environmental policymakers should be ashamed that our oceans are in such peril. Between BP and illegal fishing, it's amazing we have any healthy oceans left. We need ethics, integrity and accountability in those responsible and if we don't get it from you, we'll put our votes elsewhere.

Please protect our seas from pirate fishing...I would like for there to still be marine life when I eventually have a child and when that child has a child and so on...we are all interdependent creatures on this planet and what you do to one of us has a profound and marked impact on all the others.

We can save them! Just don't sit there and feel like you need to do something and do nothing. Educate people and sign the petitions, and don't go to any place like Sea World where they capture the Orcas and Dolphins. The more customers they have the more money they make. Do you want to reward them for capturing these wonoderful creatures? And do you really think these wild animals are happy in captivity?
