Our hearts and minds are with the people of Japan and a lot people have a lot of questions, so hopefully this answers a big one for people wondering about the number of plants and their locations here in the United States.
With the unfolding tragedy in Japan many people are visiting a page we designed a while ago where you can type in your zip code and find out if you live close to a nuclear plant in the United States.
We're updating the info, but there is a lot of important information about the plants in the US and an interface with Yahoo Maps that pinpoints the location.
Take action right now and tell the President that taxpayers should not take on the risk of building new nuclear plants.
Is there a US map that has the number of nuclear deaths and/or disasters in the US?

Shouldnt it be a map of nuclear plants build in the 1960s, that can be hit by magnitude 9 earthquakes and 33foot tsunamies afterwards?

Illyrien, Why should it be? You mean to tell me that you don't think people should know where they are UNTIL they have been hit by a 9.0 earthquake and a tsunami? Talk about....oh, no point in talking about anything with certain people. Thank you very much, Greenpeace
