Denver, CO- In response to comments from Continental Resources CEO and Donald Trump’s energy adviser Harold Hamm today at the Rocky Mountain Energy Summit in Colorado, Greenpeace USA Spokesperson Cassady Sharp said,

“Today, Donald Trump’s energy adviser Harold Hamm proved yet again how dangerous a Trump presidency would be for our environment and for communities already dealing with the impacts of climate change. Hamm assured us that Trump would never shut down fracking or drilling despite previous statements from Trump that towns and states should be allowed to ban the practice. Given the daily contradictions and backpedaling from that campaign, it’s clear that when it comes to climate and energy, the Trump team has no clue.”
