Greenpeace took action to highlight the risks of Arctic oil drilling by Gazprom at a press conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, before the Champions League match between FC Copenhagen and Real Madrid. The Russian oil giant has recently signed a deal to become sponsor of the world's soccer foundation, FIFA, andis among the major partners of the European Champions League tournament. The simple banner rolled out with a direct message to stop the company's environmental destructions: "Save The Arctic -- Show Gazprom the red card." Gazprom wants to begin the first oil production ever in the icy waters of the Arctic. Greenpeace did something similar at the Grand Prix this year, but the video was banned from YouTube.
