Koch PAC Funding of Federal Political Campaigns

Koch PAC heavily favors Republicans: 99% of its contributions have gone to Republicans during the 2014 election cycle; 98% went to Republicans in the 2012 cycle.  KochPAC also heavily favors Republican Party committees and leadership. Since 2009, KochPAC gave:

• $105,000 to the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), plus a total$360,100 directly from Koch family members: Charles, Elizabeth, David, Julia and Chase Koch (Charles’ son).
• $90,000 to the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), plus $360,662 directly from the Koch family (excluding Bill Koch of Oxbow Carbon).
• $70,000 to the Target State Victory Fund, which routs federal money to state Republican committees.
• $30,000 to the Republican National Committee.
• $30,000 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC).
• $15,000 to the Congressional Trust 2010, set up by the NRC, NRCC and NRSC to “make sure this Democrat majority pays the price for the radical and unpopular agenda it is imposing.”
• $15,000 to the 2009 Senators Classic Committee, another fund for major Republican candidates.

In addition, Koch owns Georgia Pacific and Flint Hill Resources, employees of which now give money to Koch PAC.

Koch Family and Individual Political Contributions

Charles Koch, his wife Elizabeth Koch, his son Chase Koch and David Koch and wife Julia Koch spent over $922,000 in individual political contributions from 2004-2010.

During the 2010 election cycle, the Koch brothers and their spouses spent over $363,000 in direct contributions to political campaign committees and party committees. Koch family members contributed at least $219,700 to the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC)since the 2004 election cycle, and an additional $167,300 to the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) since the 2008 election cycle.
