Be sure to check back with us often, as we update our careers page regularly.

Action Team Assistant

The Greenpeace US Action Team is seeking an Assistant. We need someone who is calm under pressure, quick-thinking and organized, comfortable running meetings and talking to police. The Action Team Assistant’s day to day work ranges from leading protests and vigils to working with the team’s director to developing action ideas to booking train tickets. They understand that a successful Greenpeace action relies not only on skilled and passionate frontline activists, but also on diligent travel planning, budgeting, and communication. They are a diplomatic link to finance and facilities departments to keep bills paid and bail money in place. They mentor interns and fellows, train new activists in nonviolent direct action skills and they don’t lose receipts.
