According to a World Bank report, the Middle East is among the most vulnerable regions to the effects of climate change.

The region will experience a rise in average temperatures that could reach up to six degrees Celsius by 2050, leading to a sharp decrease in rainfall and a significant spread of drought, with direct consequences on food security.
