Ghiwa is a visionary sustainability leader and the Executive Director of Greenpeace MENA, where she has spearheaded significant growth and expansion of the organization across the Middle East and North Africa. With over two decades of experience in strategic leadership and environmental advocacy,  she has played a crucial role in prioritizing the climate emergency and advocating for a just energy transition in the region. Her leadership was notably prominent at COP27 and COP28, where she played a crucial role within the Greenpeace delegation, engaging in key discussions to foster a greener future. 

She is a Top LinkedIn Voice- Green MENA and serves on the advisory board of WAAUB, demonstrating her dedication to empowering MENA communities with sustainable solutions and support. Her holistic approach to leadership and development has made her a key figure in transforming ambitious visions into reality, making her a pivotal advocate for ecological and societal well-being.


Fadi is the Founder of 3 impactful startups. Emerald Energy, which has achieved
remarkable results in funding sustainable projects with measurable reductions in carbon
footprints and recognised market presence. He is also the co-founder of Willie Nicholson & Associates, where he played a key role in expanding business advisory services across
EMEIA.
His academic contributions include roles at the London Institute of Banking and Finance
(LIBF) and the Higher Colleges of Technology, where he empowers the next generation of
leaders in finance and technology. His research interests aim to help tech entrepreneurs
manage the social pressures of their journey.
As the Director of the Innovation Centre at Ajman University (AU), Fadi drives cutting-edge
initiatives in innovation and entrepreneurship. Additionally, he serves on the boards of
multiple Startups and a Venture Capital Firm, further fuelling his passion for sustainable
development and technological advancement.


Marília Monteiro is Senior Campaign Strategist with the Social and Economic programme in Greenpeace International. She has focused most of her career in projects and campaigns that seek debunking the consequences of the predatory economic and financial systems that threaten our planet’s ecosystems and vulnerable communities around the world, all under the guise of economic growth and development. She has worked in diverse projects related to finance and economic system change within Greenpeace, as well as other CSOs such as BankTrack, WECF, ActionAid and Repórter Brasil.


Victoria is a sustainability and climate professional dedicated to developing future-proof business strategies and assisting companies in realising the benefits of transitioning to a low-carbon economy. As a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s sustainability advisory practice, she collaborates with MENA’s largest businesses to integrate sustainability and net zero goals into corporate strategy and operations, address regulatory requirements related to environmental, social, and governance aspects, and implement climate and green tech solutions to meet clients’ decarbonisation needs.
Before relocating to the Middle East, Victoria spent 15 years in Hong Kong, working with various organisations, including Deloitte China and the ESG rating provider EcoVadis.

Victoria is a passionate advocate for elevating women in the workplace and nurturing the next generation of female leaders. She actively mentors within Deloitte programs and participates in external initiatives that empower women and support diversity, equity, and inclusion. Outside of work, Victoria is raising two young boys and enjoys listening to podcasts and exploring the beautiful beaches and landscapes of the UAE and the broader region.
