We have an exciting opportunity for highly motivated, energetic Major Gifts fundraisers looking for a chance to significantly advance and develop the further development of a sophisticated fundraising program with great potential and work in a nice collaborative atmosphere among experienced international colleagues!   

Greenpeace MENA, established a year ago, is at an exciting point now. We are looking for Major Gifts officer, with sound professional experience as a major gifts fundraiser or key account manager, to help us build our fundraising activities with a focus on High Value donation, and contribute to making Greenpeace MENA financially independent.  

Your role

  • Build relationships authentically and systematically with potential and existing donors, a demanding group of supporters
  • Develop our ambitious large-scale donation strategy 2020-2023 (including annual and budget plans) and implement them
  • Develop concepts, target group-specific communication programs, measures and products
  • Implement existing and new activities for personal contact and systemic care of major donors, e.g. through the organization of major donor events.
  • Give impulses overlooking other fundraising markets and relevant players

About you 

  • Enjoy authentic, purposeful and personal contact with various demanding groups of people
  • strong competence in strategic and conceptual planning, work and evaluation
  • Exceptional communicator with experience in developing and implementing communication plans and projects for various major donor segments.
  • strong attachment to the vision, mission and values of Greenpeace.
  • Willing to travel throughout Arab countries with good command of English 
  • ability to work autonomously and with foresight, discretion, resilience
