Call for proposals for Vision and Hubs Review for Greenpeace Africa (GPAF).
Greenpeace Africa (GPAF) is an independent environmental campaigning organisation with offices in South Africa, Senegal, Cameroon, Kenya and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
GPAF seeks to engage two consultants – one to undertake an internal review and the other to undertake an external review.
Qualifications and competencies:
- Master Degree and at least ten (10) years progressive experience in the field of environmental justice, climate urgency in Africa, organisational development, strategy development, etc.
- Excellent ability to produce synthetic policy and organisational documents.
- Strong communication skills and ability to conduct smooth consultation processes.
- Proficiency in both English and French.
The external consultant shall have substantive knowledge of the African political and policies landscape as well as environmental justice and climate urgency issues in Africa. The internal consultant shall have the institutional knowledge of international organisations like Greenpeace on internal systems and organisation. Sound knowledge in organisation development, environmental justice and system change is key. As the consultant familiar with Greenpeace systems, the internal consultant will coordinate with the external consultant to produce the final joint report.
