TERMS OF REFERENCE (TOR)

  1. About Greenpeace MENA

The Middle East and North Africa is home to extraordinary natural heritage, resilient communities, and a new generation ready to shape a more sustainable future. Yet the region is increasingly exposed to climate and environmental pressures. Greenpeace MENA works to turn that urgency into meaningful action.

Greenpeace MENA brings together communities, young people, researchers, faith leaders, civil society, media, and decision-makers to protect nature, strengthen climate resilience, and advance practical solutions rooted in the realities of the region. Through research, advocacy, storytelling, and public engagement, Greenpeace MENA makes environmental challenges visible, amplifies the voices of affected communities, and helps build pathways towards healthier and more resilient societies.

Our work has engaged hundreds of thousands of people, equipped young environmental leaders, strengthened community participation, contributed to public debate, and advanced locally grounded responses to some of the region’s most pressing environmental and climate challenges.

Regionally rooted, politically and financially independent, Greenpeace MENA is supported by individuals and independent foundations. Greenpeace combines deep regional understanding with global expertise to help shape a peaceful, sustainable, and just future in which people and nature can thrive together.

  1. The Induction

Greenpeace MENA is seeking to strengthen and diversify its major donor fundraising pipeline by developing relationships with High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs), Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWIs), family offices and philanthropic networks aligned with Greenpeace MENA’s mission and areas of impact and Donation Acceptance Policy.
