Description
Greenpeace MENA is seeking a Social Media Intern to provide general support to the Engagement Team at Greenpeace Middle East and North Africa. This will allow the intern to develop new skills and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Greenpeace MENA’s digital campaigns.
During your stay at Greenpeace MENA, you’ll get first-level hands-on training on social media, community management, data, and reporting.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Community management across different channels, as well as on emails, and websites.
- Uploading and scheduling daily posts and stories on the different social media platforms.
- Contributing to the daily editorial meetings and supporting the coordination of digital content development and distribution across different channels
- Supporting the tracking and reporting of social media metrics.
- Supporting the ideation and development of social media content.
Requirements
- The ability to meet deadlines is vital.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms.
- The ability to create and adapt content through platforms like Photoshop, Canva, and native tools on Instagram and TikTok is a plus.
Qualifications
Education: University degree in digital marketing, marketing, advertising, Audio-visual, or related fields.
Language: Strong verbal and written communication skills in Arabic A very good knowledge of English is a must; French is desirable.

It also allows them to enhance their educational experience through practical work assignments, thereby developing skills that will be useful for their career and future employment.
Our internships are meant for students or recent graduates who have completed their studies less than 2 years ago.
