2025 was a year when climate reality moved closer into everyday life across South Asia. What was once spoken about in projections is now being felt in rising heat, in uncertain coastlines, and in the growing strain on workers, communities, and ecosystems. And yet, alongside this, something else became clearer: people are not waiting quietly. Across the region, communities are organising, supporting one another, and shaping responses rooted in care, dignity, and justice.
Witness 4.25 brings together Greenpeace South Asia’s year in review through these stories of collective action — from ocean protection and climate justice to youth movements and cross-border solidarity. It is a reflection of a region where climate justice is not abstract, but lived and demanded, and where people continue to come together to protect what matters, and push for a future that is fairer, safer, and shared.
