Cameroon stands at the forefront of Greenpeace Africa’s campaign to protect the Congo Basin Forest.This is Africa’s largest rainforest and it is under threat from deforestation caused by illegal logging and industrial agriculture.
We are building alliances with local and indigenous communities, national NGOs and our dynamic volunteers to inform and educate the people about deforestation. We are also proposing and encouraging alternative solutions to industrial agriculture such as ecological farming.
