There’s no doubt that these are strange and challenging times. I hope you and your loved ones are safe and well.

For many people, the ocean is a salve in times of anxiety and overwhelm. Perhaps it’s the ocean’s vastness, the feeling of sand between our toes, or the rhythmic sound of waves crashing that soothes us. Whatever it is, it can work wonders.

Most people don’t have access to the ocean, so we thought we’d compile the next best thing: a list of beautiful, transportative ocean videos that you can watch from your couch.

While it’s important to stay informed, it’s also vital to give your brain a break. So take a moment and immerse yourself in the soothing visuals and sounds of the ocean, with plenty of beautiful wildlife thrown in for good measure

Defending Our Oceans

Now we have a chance to turn things around, by putting the most vulnerable and important parts of our oceans off-limits to destructive industries. Governments at the UN are starting work on a Global Ocean Treaty that will introduce laws to protect the oceans by creating sanctuaries.
