As a result of Greenpeace’s groundbreaking analysis of satellite data, the has invited Greenpeace Africa to present on the findings of this report today, 21 November 2018, through a Committee Enquiry on Air Pollution/Minimum Emission Standards in Cape Town.

The enquiry includes presentations from Greenpeace Africa, and responses by Eskom, Sasol, and the Department of Environmental Affairs to the report, as well as issues related to compliance with the Minimum Emission Standards and decommissioning of coal-fired power stations. The Life After Coal Campaign will also present on air quality governance issues.
