Kenya is just one of the five countries where Greenpeace Africa operates. Greenpeace opened its doors in East Africa in 2015 with the launch of the Food for Life Campaign in Nairobi. We are campaigning for sustainable agriculture by protecting biodiversity and encouraging ecological farming that is good for the planet and people. Our vision is to create an equitable food system for the people who actually produce the world's food.

Our work has majored been with communities such as local NGOs, farmer groups, CSOs. Kenya also boasts of a very active and enthusiastic volunteer group based in Nairobi.
