While Canada is warming twice as fast as the rest of the world, a Green New Deal gives us a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to act on climate change and address other major challenges we face. This bold and far reaching plan aims to cut emissions in half in 11 years in line with Indigenous knowledge and climate science, create more than a million good jobs, and build inclusive communities in the process. We are on a mission to make the Green New Deal a reality. To get there, we need to show this vision has the support of communities from coast to coast to coast.
