Biodiversity includes all living beings on Earth and their interaction with each other. These ecosystems form the basics of human culture. The Mediterranean Sea is considered the crossroads of civilizations as one of the central sites of diversity but today it is under threat. Indeed, demographic growth and a high level of consumption have led to depletion of Natural Resources and degradation of the ecosystem, resulting in social inequality, instability and exacerbation of conflicts. The first case revolves around the problems of Morocco, as the fish stocks have been depleted by overfishing fueled by foreign ships. The second study focuses on Lebanon’s biodiversity with its endangered animal wealth.
