Our forests help stabilise the climate, and are home to a diversity of plants and animals. It is also a source of livelihood for people depending on it to live. But the forest is under threat - large areas are being degraded due in large part to unsustainable industrial activities.
With Africa been home to the world’s second largest rainforest, the need to protect it remains more urgent than ever. We need to build a movement of people calling for forest protection, species survival and taking action against climate change.
