Yossi Cadan is a seasoned climate and human rights advocate with over 35 years of experience in the environmental and social justice movements. He currently serves as the Interim Managing Director at Greenpeace Canada, where he supports the organization’s strategic direction, development, and impact. Yossi has held senior roles at 350.org and the Sunrise Project, leading global climate finance campaigns, building cross-sector coalitions, and supporting grassroots movements across North America and East Asia. He is also a long-time human rights organizer who co-founded initiatives that exposed human rights violations in Gaza and promoted cross-border peacebuilding among Israeli, Palestinian, and Jordanian communities. Yossi brings an unwavering commitment to justice, a global perspective, and decades of experience driving impactful movements for lasting change.
