Thank you for your interest in becoming a Volunteer for Greenpeace in Toronto.
There are many ways you can help us out. The best way to get involved is by signing up for our volunteer newsletter. You will be sent regular updates and you will be notified about our orientation sessions, meetings, events and when we are looking for people for specific activities. We may ask you to attend an event with us, paint a banner, help us in the office, or assist in organizing an activity. Perhaps you have specific skills you can offer. If this is the case, we’d love to hear from you.
To become a Greenpeace volunteer in the Toronto-area, you must first attend one of our Volunteer Orientation Sessions. These sessions will introduce you to the basics on Greenpeace values, campaigns and programs. They take place at different times from month to month, to accommodate people's busy and differing schedules. Please see our Events Calender to find out when the next orientation session is, and RSVP using our online form.
Once you've attended an orientation session, you may join us for our Monthly Volunteer Meetings - the last Wednesday of every month at 6:30. They are usually at our office, but locations and other meeting details are posted to our volunteer newsletter prior to the meeting. You are also asked to RSVP to our monthly meetings, so we can prepare an effective meeting based on the number of attendees.
If you are outside the Toronto area, but want to get involved, please send an email to:
