28 November 2018 (MONTRÉAL) –  Tomorrow, the Sortons la Caisse du carbone  coalition is calling upon the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec to divest from fossil fuels. Circus artists will attempt to recreate the ‘impossible balance’ (‘l’impossible équilibre‘) that the Caisse, while aiming to commit to a green transition, is still investing in the production and transport sectors of fossil fuels.

Today after the IPCC’s irrefutable report and a few days from COP24, all indicators point to a climate urgency and the need to act by no longer financing this global climate crisis – caused by fossil fuel extraction.

Tomorrow among the spokespeople, signatories of Le Pacte, Geneviève Rochette and Dominic Champagne, will be present.
