Are Greenpeace Aotearoa donations tax deductible?

Yes! You can claim tax credits on every donation over $5 to Greenpeace Aotearoa. Every year in April, we will send you a tax receipt, totalling your donations to Greenpeace over the previous tax year (up to 31 March). 

You can claim back one third of every donation you make that is over $5. For example, if you donate $100, you can claim back $33.33.

How do I claim my charity tax rebate?

You can claim your charity tax rebate online through myIR. You’ll need a myIR login or a RealMe login.

You can also request your rebate via post by downloading the IR526 form.
