A new fresh water documentary by Greenpeace – coming soon to a cinema near you!

Come along to an advance screening of the Greenpeace documentary, Something in the Water!

What is this documentary about?

For decades, Canterbury’s lakes, rivers, and drinking water have been heading on a rapid downhill trajectory. But it’s not too late to turn that around. People across Canterbury are fighting back to protect their access to fresh water – and this is their story.

Join Greenpeace campaigner Will Appelbe as he travels throughout the Canterbury region, speaking to communities who are on the frontlines of the freshwater crisis. We speak to elders who have experienced dramatic changes to their local waterways within their lifetimes as a result of industry pollution, and we hear from those who are campaigning to improve the state of lakes, rivers, and drinking water across the Waitaha.
