Your volunteer coordinator

Charlie Lake (she/her) comes from Vancouver Island, Canada. Charlie has worked in the non-profit sector for nearly two decades and has worked for international non-profits such as Greenpeace Canada, Surfrider Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and now Greenpeace Aotearoa.

She is also currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Auckland in sociology but strongly believes that knowledge without action is useless.

Alongside her educational pursuits, Charlie’s greatest strengths are her real-world experience, strategic thinking, and ability to challenge systems.
