Sinéad O'Flynn

Sinéad (they/them) is an Agriculture Campaigner at Greenpeace Aotearoa and grew up in rural Southland and Otago, and has been based in Tāmaki Makaurau since 2017. Sinéad first became involved in environmental activism as a videographer, supporting NGOs to document their activism. Sinéad joined Greenpeace Aotearoa in 2022, as a contractor, offering logistical support to various campaign activities, and became the agriculture campaigner in 2024. Growing up in the South Island, Sinéad saw the intensification of the dairy industry happening in real time. In their spare time, Sinéad is an avid gardener and tree planter, focused on ecological food production.
