June 18, 2019 (Vancouver) – In response to the federal Cabinet approval of the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion Greenpeace Canada Climate & Energy campaigner Mike Hudema said:
“For the Trudeau government to approve this pipeline after declaring a climate emergency makes about as much sense as pouring gasoline on a burning fire. The climate crisis demands an all-hands-on-deck response to meet the demands of science and justice, not another multi-billion dollar subsidy to the oil industry to make the problem worse. The billions it will cost to push this pipeline would be better spent implementing a Green New Deal to create jobs and put people to work so we can solve the climate emergency our government just declared.”

This Federla govt.speaks from both sides of its mouth gaining nothing.
I've been activating that Big Oil Pay for quite some time with other activists such as the Campaign to Protect Offshore Nova Scotia. Furthermore,Justin has poured gas on himself by promoting the Trans Mountain Pipeline.
