Discover the Rainbow Warrior

During the open boat days, you will have the opportunity to board the legendary Rainbow Warrior yourself. You will hear the story of the ship, the infamous bombing in 1985, and the many campaigns with which Greenpeace has forced change worldwide.

Our guides will take you through the decks and give you a behind-the-scenes look at a ship that symbolizes courage, action, and hope.

Together for climate justice

Everyone in the Netherlands deserves protection from the climate crisis, including those on Bonaire. While the government is taking minimal steps for many of its citizens, the inhabitants of Bonaire, Saba, and Statia are being systematically forgotten.

The Rainbow Warrior is on Bonaire to show solidarity and, together with the residents, demand what is fair: climate action for everyone.

That’s why, in addition to the tour, you can learn more about the climate case that residents of Bonaire have filed against the Dutch government together with Greenpeace. Just one week after the ship’s visit, they will face the state in court—a historic step in the fight for climate justice.

On the pier, you will also find an exhibition on climate justice and how islands such as Bonaire are disproportionately affected by the climate crisis.

For young and old

For the youngest visitors, there is a kids’ booth with fun and educational activities about the sea, the climate, and nature conservation.

Come by, be inspired, and become part of the movement for a greener and fairer future!
