As of December 17, Super Typhoon Odette made 9 landfalls in 7 provinces of the Philippines, leaving at least 330,000 people displaced in parts of Visayas & Northern Mindanao and 63 cities/municipalities without electricity.

Needs assessments are being conducted by the Philippine government together with civil society organizations but is hampered by floods, blocked roads, impassable bridges, and interruption of other lifelines.
