On Saturday 8th June, more than 20,000 people filled Queen Street in Auckland to March for Nature in protest against the Government’s war on nature and the Fast Track Bill. We speak with Forest & Bird’s Hauraki Gulf Coordinator, Bianca Ranson and Greenpeace Head of Actions & Mobilisation, Simon Oosterman about what it takes to organise a march like that and what’s next for the movement against destructive environmental legislation.
