Stop Ghost Fishing Gear
Ghost fishing gear is nets, ropes and other detritus that’s either lost or abandoned at sea. It’s one of the largest sources of plastic pollution, and it’s the most deadly to marine life. For decades, this ghost gear can go on snaring and killing ocean creatures, causing devastating injury and death. Even when this gear breaks down into smaller pieces, it continues to kill through ingestion. We’ve got a plan to stop it, but we’re going to need your help to do so.
