On July 10th 1985 French Government secret service agents attached two bombs to the Greenpeace ship as it was moored in Auckland.
Then an explosion plunged the ship into darkness. As water rushed in, the crew scrambled to escape. The French Government thought this would end our protests against their nuclear testing in the Pacific. They were wrong.
