Historic climate hearings are happening at the International Court of Justice, in the Hague, Netherlands. Until 13 December, over 100 States and intergovernmental organisations will deliver oral submissions to the judges of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), paving the way for the delivery of an advisory opinion by the Court of States’ legal obligation in the context of climate change and climate emergencies that are impacting communities around the world.
