The federal government is expected to announce a bailout package for the oil and gas industry. Let’s tell Justin Trudeau’s cabinet to invest in people not dying industries by making #JustTransition trend on Twitter.

The COVID-19 crisis is hitting communities hard, impacting people’s health, causing massive economic disruption, and upending our lives. 

Now is the time for the government to step up with real support for communities to weather this crisis and recover in a way that builds resilience and sustainability. 

It’s NOT a time for handouts to the oil corporations causing the climate crisis or increasing our vulnerability to threats like climate change.

Let’s speak out together to make sure communities receive the support they need.
