Brussels, 11 July 2025 – Today, Greenpeace and the other Green 10 organisations met with European Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen, to table a list of civil society’s recommendations for action.
The Green 10 represent over 50 million Europeans across all Member States and Candidate Countries. Our asks to the Commission President respond to the new emerging world order and geopolitical developments, the need for EU security, the new distorting norm of disinformation, and the concerted attacks on civil society that are part of a wider playbook to undermine the European Green Deal (EGD), EU democracy and the European project.
