We are looking for an enthusiastic, responsible, and detail-oriented intern with strong coordinating, research and administrative skills to assist in the central role that this team plays at the organization. Being part of the ED&I office will give interns the unique opportunity to be involved with all parts of the organization, which can provide a useful overall insight into the inner workings of Greenpeace. This position is a great opportunity for anybody interested in learning more about organizational culture change, organizational communication and the nuts and bolts of diversity and inclusion.
Responsibilities:
- Research in the field of equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Research industry consultants, their various skill sets and area of expertise
- Research and compile diversity data into spreadsheets and other shared formats
- Attend meetings as requested to gain insight, provide information and knowledge pertinent to our office
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the ED&I commitment at GP such as venue locations, housing, catering and audiovisual reservations for internal and external diversity events
- Assist in compiling materials and prepping for D&I meetings, in-person meetings and other presentations
- Taking notes at ED&I meetings
- Updating and editing our internal website
- Additional tasks as assigned by the ED&I Officer
