Supporter Care Internship (DC)

The Washington D.C. Supporter Care team is dedicated to assisting Greenpeace members and supporters with an array of requests and inquiries. Supporter Care staff work in collaboration with the development team, data team, and campaigners to save income, track requests, and provide relevant information about our work.

track requests, and provide relevant information about our work.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, responsible, solutions-driven intern who can critically
analyze our membership services and provide suggestions for improving donor
relationships. This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in nonprofit
fundraising and monthly giving programs.

Responsibilities
1. Perform analysis of monthly membership retention strategies and comparison of
competitive donor services
2. Research relationship building and supporter engagement methods
3. Create and manage a Facebook page for monthly donors
4. Create compelling content to be included in testing.
5. Monitor industry trends and develop new ways to engage Greenpeace donors via
social media channels.
6. Research strategies for youth engagement programs and GP Kids toolkit
7. Other opportunities and responsibilities in related projects.
Requirements
1. Background in Marketing, Communication, Non-Profit Fundraising or other
related discipline.
2. Strong communication skills.
3. Self-motivated.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
6. Creative and flexible.
7. Interest in nonprofit fundraising
8. Interest in environmental protection and social justice
9. Spanish language skills preferred
10. Familiarity with social media analytics preferred
