Energy from the sun has never been more accessible and affordable. Ordinary people across the world are already taking part in this energy revolution.

The 100 kWp stand-alone solar photovoltaic power plant at Tangtse, Durbuk block, Ladakh. Located 14,500 feet AMSL in the Himalaya, the plant supplies electricity to a clinic, a school and 347 houses in this remote location, for around five hours each day.

Single-use plastics are trashing our planet. Every action to reduce single-use plastics sends a message to the industry that it’s time to change.

Plastic waste collected in German rivers during a national day of action against marine and water pollution caused by plastic products used in everyday life. The waste was sorted in various categories, such as “Leisure and Kids”, Supermarket” and “Curiosities.” Gezeigt wird Plastikmuell, welcher im Sommer 2016 an einem Gruppenaktionstag von Freiwilligen an Deutschen Fluessen gesammelt wurde. Die Produkte sind in die Kategorien “Freizeit und Kinder”, “Kuriositaeten” und “Supermarkt” eingeteilt/sortiert.
