The George C. Marshall Institute has a long history of global warming denial, including publication of junk science reports funded by the American Petroleum Institute and authored by Sallie Baliunas, a scientist affiliated with several organizations receiving money from oil corporations.
In 2015, the George C. Marshall Institute reformed into the “CO2 Coalition,” retaining many of the Marshall Institute’s personnel and advisers.
The Marshall Institute also produced a “Cocktail Conversation Guide“ with suggestions for denying the dangers of global warming in any social setting.
