Working together to stop coal exports

The coal industry is planning to boost exports to Asia. They want to extract more coal in Montana and Wyoming. Coal trains would cut through communities in Montana, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington and Tribal Land. Coal export terminals would disrupt communities in Oregon and Washington, and send more pollution to Asia. But people are working together to stop the coal industry's export plans by challenging plans for new coal mines, organizing to stop coal export terminals, and showing that our communities, states, and tribes can do better than coal exports.
