Plastic waste clogs landfills, it gets shipped offshore and incinerated, or chokes our waterways, coasts and oceans. Plastic never goes away, it just breaks down into smaller and smaller pieces. It’s in the air we breathe, the food we eat and has even been found in our blood. Plastic bottles are the worst culprits and they can be replaced. Every year in Aotearoa, big corporations like Coca-Cola sell around one billion throwaway plastic bottles. We’re calling for a ban on single-use plastic bottles in Aotearoa. Will you join us?
