Job Title: Legal Intern
Employment Status: 2 Months of internship (40 hours/week)
Location: Delhi
Stipend : 10,000/- Per month

Terms of Reference (TOR) – Legal Intern
- Work with people and households maintaining Heat Registries in Delhi to collect and document evidence as per the provisions of Indian Evidence Act.
- Research how testimonies, community records, and other forms of documentation can be used as evidence under the Indian law.
- Support research and scoping for potential climate litigation, including relevant laws, judgments, legal arguments, and forums.
- Support the organisation of legal convenings, including preparing research and briefing materials.
- Support the organisation and documentation of community hearings, including collecting testimonies and preparing records.
- Assist with organising and maintaining a repository of testimonies, documents, and other relevant evidence.
Desired Skills
- Currently pursuing a law degree or recently graduated.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Interest in climate and environmental law, human rights, or public interest litigation.
- Good documentation and organisational skills.
- Open to working with communities, informal worker groups etc
- Knowledge of Indian law and legal research methods.
