Greenpeace Brazil display the responses of the community’s imagination and the dream city look like, as part of the celebration of the World Habitat Day, which kicks off Urban October, a United Nations initiative that encourages the promotion of activities and debates on how we can make cities a better place for everyone in Morro dos Macacos, South of the city of São Paulo, Brazil.
Greenpeace Brazil and the local community hold a conversation about climate justice and the impacts of extreme weather events, and an invitation to the imagination was open to answer the question: What does your dream city look like? Their responses were projected at the community during the activity and to echo what people want for their lives, so that they feel respected for their right to access the city.

On 15 June 2021, Greenpeace Nordic and Young Friends of the Earth, along with six young climate activist file an application with the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).

The applicants claim that the decision to issue licences for oil and gas extraction in the Norwegian Arctic violates their fundamental human rights and increases the risk of harm due to climate change.

The individual applicants include six young activists: Ingrid Skjoldvær (27), Gaute Eiterjord (25), Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen (23), Mia Cathryn Chamberlain (22), Lasse Bjørn (24), and Gina Gylver (20).
